After Vance, Willie ("Bill," by his family and friends back in Tennessee) went to Korea to fly F-4 Phantoms. He eventually became a Thunderbird. He was killed in 1982 at Indian Springs, NV. Go to the "MEMORIAL" page to learn more about Willie's historic and  tragic accident.
